Patagonia National Park is located 315 km south of the city of Coyhaique, on the Carretera Austral. To access the Valle Chacabuco and Tamango sectors you must arrive at Cochrane. For the Jeinimeni sector you must enter through Chile Chico. The Park is the combination of the old Tamango, Jeinimeni and Valle Chacabuco reserves. We spent about 1 week touring the Chacabuco and Tamango sectors. Unfortunately we did not see the Jeinimeni sector, but the journey from there to Chacabuco is said to be impressive.
