Since we cannot overcome the worries, concerns, anxiety, impatience, and despair of this world with our own strength, if we firmly accept God, who can overcome and overcome all of this world, as the master of our hearts, the heart that is with God can keep our bodies safe. We must accept God the Father as our father in our hearts and realize all the preparations God has made to save us through Jesus Christ. God did his best to legally redeem us through Jesus. God entrusted our sins, injustice, ugliness, curses, despair, and death to Jesus, so that Jesus, who has no sin, could bear them, tear his body, shed his blood, and settle everything on the cross. The Father opened the way for us to legally obtain freedom from sin, liberation from faults, healing from illness, blessing from curses, and eternal life from death. After that, he calls us and sends the Holy Spirit to stand on the foundation that Jesus has established and bring about change in us. The Holy Spirit is a spirit that operates and changes, and he comes to work, but he cannot work without a foundation. God the Father laid the foundation of redemption through Jesus for us who sinned, were unjust, ugly, and deserved to be abandoned. After that, He sent the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit works and changes us. The Holy Spirit creates and changes us. Even at this moment, the Holy Spirit has come to this place and is working to bring about creation and change in our lives. He is working like the wind and living water, and when we hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, accept it in our hearts, and build the foundation, the Holy Spirit works among us according to that word. If we rely on this Holy Spirit, we can confirm the great love of God. The Lord called sinners like us and paid for all our sins without cost through the merit of the cross. The love of God that changed us by sending the Holy Spirit is an eternal love. The love of God is not the kind of love that loves us for one day and then leaves us the next day. The love of God the Father is the love that holds us and changes us forever. Romans 5:5-8 says, “And hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. For while we were still without strength, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For hardly will one die for a righteous person—perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” This is a great epic. God gives us this love, so we should not be afraid. Therefore, we must strive to live a life that pleases God according to His will so that God and we can live together and God can live joyfully and joyfully in us. Jesus came to this earth to suffer for us. Jesus came to settle our sins, injustice, ugliness, curses, failures, and despair. Therefore, just as the Lord was crucified for us and died for us, not for himself, He wants us to live a life that resembles Christ. Our elementary life of faith is to be saved through the atonement of Jesus on the cross. However, if we have been freed from sin, forgiven from our faults, healed from illness, liberated from curses and poverty, gained hope, and gained life from death, and have become people who are well-off in soul, well-off in all things, and strong, then now we must follow Christ and live a life of bearing the cross for our neighbors. Therefore, God says that He wants us to live as it is written in Ephesians 4:12-13, “For the perfecting of the saints for the work of service, for the edifying of the body of Christ, until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” We must stand firm on the Word. In order to live firmly without being swayed by our circumstances while we live in this world, we must stand firm on the Word. Jesus is invisible to our eyes, and the Holy Spirit is invisible to our eyes. Then where are God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit? They are with the Word. The Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, and the Father work in the Word. Christ has set us free, so we must stand firm in faith and not be subject again to the yoke of slavery. Therefore, the grace to resist is in the Word. We must not simply display this Word as decoration, and we must not bring it only when we come to church, but we must keep it in our hearts and use it to confront our circumstances. We must not accept the coming hardships and crises as our destiny and fate. After knowing the Word, we must resist anything that goes against the Word. When temptation of sin comes, we must stand firm in the Word and resist the temptation of sin. When illness comes, we must resist the illness. When demons come, we must resist the demons. When business difficulties and hardships come, we must pray and resist with faith, and we must even resist the power of death. It says to resist the devil and he will flee from you. I cannot tell you how good it is to memorize many Bible verses and engrave them in our hearts. Let’s memorize Psalm 23 before going to bed, fall asleep, and memorize Psalm 23 first thing in the morning when we wake up. When we memorize and believe this word, the Holy Spirit works in our hearts. After we say this word, the amazing power in this word captures our hearts. We believe in God, the shepherd, as Psalm 23 says. Next, let us memorize the word in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Our hearts often waver. We read this word when we do not know how to live or what God’s will is for us and are afraid. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers, so we must think that things will go well, dream that things will go well, and believe that things will go well. We must speak strongly about things that will go well. We must not speak vaguely. We must speak strongly. The devil also spoke strongly when he tempted Adam and Eve. When he told Eve to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Eve said, “You will not die if you eat it.” The devil said strongly, “You will absolutely not die.” “If you eat from this tree of the knowledge of good and evil, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” This is a strong negative and disobedient word. Therefore, we must also speak strongly positive words. We must read and memorize the Word of God and say strongly, “I am not lacking. Your goodness and mercy truly follow me. I will prosper in my soul and in all things I will prosper and be in good health.” We overcome this world through the Word. How good is the Word of Isaiah 41:10-11 when we are afraid? “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Behold, all who are angry with you will be ashamed and disgraced; those who contend with you will be as nothing and perish.” When we meditate on and memorize this Word and it enters our hearts, we gain courage and strength. Even when the whole world is dark and lonely, with no one to rely on, the Word enters our hearts like a bright light, saying, “Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will truly help you. I will truly uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Therefore, the greatest grace and gift given to us is the Word. God appears through the Word, Jesus comes through the Word, and the Holy Spirit works through the Word. That is why memorizing the Word and living in the Word is a great blessing. Also, we must stand firm in the Word and clearly realize and understand the grace of Jesus who redeemed us. If we truly accept God as our master in the Word, all anxiety and fear will fall away, and we will be able to stand firm.
