Making it is really simple and, in my opinion, it is the perfect dish to bring to the table when we don't have many ingredients in the pantry or in the refrigerator. In my freezer, for example, there is always a pack of frozen peas because they are very versatile and I like to always have them available, even when they are not exactly in season. I could define the recipe for pasta with ricotta and peas as a lighter version of the one with cream; in fact, while maintaining an incredible creaminess, it is much less caloric and lighter and for this reason you can make it more often! In this case I used sheep's ricotta which in my opinion gives this dish a stronger flavor, but if you want you can use the one you like best.
