He currently also works as a consultant on rural properties throughout the country. Olavo has deep roots in agribusiness, having been raised in a family with a strong involvement in the area. His interest in living on farms and his passion for animals were cultivated since childhood. After watching his father dedicate himself to farming throughout his life, Olavo chose to follow a different path. Motivated by his passion for animals and the desire to avoid potential conflicts in agronomic activities, he chose to study veterinary medicine. After graduating, Olavo decided to do an internship abroad, in Montana, USA, where he gained experience on a breeding farm. Later, he also participated in a project in Angola, acting as a consultant, which further expanded his professional experience. Back in Brazil, Olavo worked alongside his father for a while, but differences of opinion and conflicts led him to resign. Motivated by the successes he had achieved with his father and the lack of recognition, he decided to start his own journey as a consultant, focusing on managing beef cattle farms, improving production, and increasing the productivity of properties. Throughout his career, Olavo also participated in an expedition that covered more than 100 thousand kilometers across Brazil, visiting farms of different sizes and realities, further enriching his knowledge that he now applies in his consulting services. During the interview, Olavo shares important lessons and learnings that he has acquired from his professional and personal experiences.
