Mechanical aptitude tests or mechanical reasoning tests are a classic among psychotechnical tests and are commonly used in public examinations for access to various public bodies and in the personnel selection processes of many companies. This type of test seeks to assess the individual's ability to analyse mechanical and physical principles applied to everyday situations, in which we are presented with a certain situation and have to deduce how it will evolve following the laws of physics. It does not require extensive theoretical knowledge but rather a certain logical and deductive capacity that is applied to the real world. Mechanical aptitude tests usually include questions about simple machines, such as: pulleys, levers, inclined planes, the axle and the wheel, the wedge, the screw, and also basic concepts about: behaviour of fluids and materials, geometry, pendulums, pressures, electricity, heat and sound transmission, movement of objects and speed, gravity and force, and spatial orientation. This collection of three videos dedicated to mechanical aptitude tests contains a total of 121 different statements, representative of the type of questions that usually appear in these tests. In them we show you a wide variety of questions that you will find in psychotechnical tests, and in the entrance exams that are carried out in oppositions for armed forces, firefighters, national police force, autonomous police, local police, private security, state security forces and bodies, administrative positions, state administration assistants, public administrations and a multitude of professions in which it is necessary to evaluate the logical, reasoning and deductive capacities and aptitudes of the candidates. This video is the first in the series and contains 40 questions. PART TWO: • Pass the ✅ MECHANICAL APTITUDE TEST... PART THIRD: • Pass the ✅ MECHANICAL APTITUDE TEST...
