Can people be parents without ever making mistakes? It would be an unrealistic scenario because it's part of being human, but we can definitely change direction and ignore past educational models imposed by society; we can consciously decide to get rid of them. Carlotta Cerri, founder of the educational platform “La Tela”, guides us on a journey on how to rethink our parents' mistakes and decide to be different ones for our kids thanks to a more loving approach that will educate the people of the future. She is the founder of La Tela, an educational platform that is reshaping parenting in Italy. She is also a trained AMI educator for ages 3-6 and 6-12 at the Maria Montessori Institute in London. She believes that real change begins by empowering adults to break free from the way they were raised, and rethink their approach to childhood and parenting. Her work lies in bridging educational theory and real-world practice, providing parents with useful tools to transform their parenting journey. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
