When I meet up with friends, they often ask me to tell them about my trips to the islands, and they start to look at me incredulously when I tell them that I suddenly found myself among five capybaras eating peacefully just a few meters away, seeing a surubí going up a small stream, being among a large community of otters or arriving at a lagoon where you can see hundreds of fins of a gigantic school of fish, rays hunting, sharing a moment with a family of owls resisting a storm and many more adventures and unique moments that I usually don't get to film. But every now and then I have the chance to take short videos of these encounters. They are not of good quality since I don't use a tripod and I use a camera, but you can appreciate the wonders that the islands hold. For those who are not fortunate enough to know them, you can appreciate some of their secrets. Pablo LosAliadoS (Paraná River Islands)
