Panorama profiles the current Brazilian reader. Who reads in Brazil today? What do they read? How do they read? Who or what encourages them to read? The fourth (and most recent) edition of the 2016 Portraits of Reading in Brazil Survey showed that readers in Brazil represent 56% of the population. Women are the majority: 59% are readers, while men are 52%. But the people who read the most in Brazil today are young people between the ages of 18 and 24. Guests: Jaime Pinsky, book editor and historian, and Marisa Lajolo, professor of Literary Theory at Unicamp and Mackenzie. Follow the Jornalismo TV Cultura pages on social media!
