The Palazzo Comacio in Roveredo will be extensively restored in the coming years. Rolf Heusser and Daniela Zünd Heusser are working on the restoration of the house built in 1670 by Tomaso Comacio. This film clip accompanies the window builders in Goldach as they produce the new (old) windows. These are being recreated in a historically accurate manner based on the Baroque model by the Vogel Fensterbauer company (www.vogel-fensterbauer.ch). Christian Rüttimann, managing director of the Vogel Fensterbauer company, introduces the production techniques of their historical windows. At the same time, the restorers in Roveredo are preparing to install the windows and finally mount the delivered new chestnut wood windows on the Palazzo.
