Date of photo: Friday, November 8, 2024 Latest information: After a year's cruise, I took a dip in the hot springs of Jozankei Onsen and on the way back I boarded the Mitsui O.S.K. Lines' "Furano". The cheaper ticket was Pacific Story. This is the first time I've boarded the Furano in two years. Personally, as someone living in the Kanto region, I prefer the northbound route from Oarai Port, but due to the check-in time at the Jozankei Onsen hotel, I ended up going back (of course, you can still make it in time for the check-in time at the hotel even if you take the outbound route). In these times when hotels in tourist destinations are soaring in price, I think it's a good idea to use the ferry as a hotel instead. In the case of the Mitsui O.S.K.
