For those who were disappointed with its predecessor, I assure you, Patient Number 9 should compensate for the shortcomings of the previous album. The new album features a huge number of invited friends of Ozzy, and part-time truly great musicians. Drummer Chad Smith is the drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. Bass guitar parts were recorded by Robert Trujillo of Metallica and Duff McKagan of Guns N' Roses.
