Two years ago, we stocked it with carp. Half a barrel of fry was bought at a local fish farm. In addition, small crucian carp and tench caught in a nearby lake are constantly released into the pond. In addition to fish farming, the pond is also an important element of the landscape design on our farm. The pond is 1.5 meters deep, and initially it was about 3. Quite recently, we began feeding the fish with homemade bait, since the carp seemed small to us. Closer to autumn, we will look at the result and the effectiveness of bait from peelings. In short, we seriously took up carp breeding. We conducted a test fishing in the pond - the result was not impressive. What fish to release into the pond is up to everyone. I would have added silver carp, but the local fish farm did not have fry.
