Welcome to the last episode of Overland Expedition Spain Season 01, presented by Redbeard Overland. After being chased out of the Sierra de Guara by a terrible forest fire, we decide to drive in a 4x4 at night to Alquézar, to get as far away as possible from the threat, and at the same time get closer to the Muraille de Finestras, the last checkpoint of our Overland Expedition, before reaching Andorra. After having explored the rocky tracks of the Murailles de Finestras, and having met this charming couple in a Land Rover Defender; it was time for us to end our Overland journey in complete autonomy. We joined the Principality of Andorra to end on a relaxing note in Airbnb, but once there, the desire to travel the great and famous Smugglers' Trail was totally irresistible. The big question, is it possible with a raised SUV without a short box, in the rain? Being good Bretons attached to the ocean, we can say that the Spanish landscapes are a few light years from the fauna and flora that we know here. Between deserts, canyons, lakes and forests, Spain was a great favorite for us, a real playground for 4x4 adventures. We sincerely hope to be able to convey our emotion and this wonder to you, in this new Overland Expedition 4x4 Spain series.
