"Suzuki Yu Reading and Self-Expression Classroom" head http://www.roudoku.jp/ ■ I recommend this book *In no particular order ・ The titles are those at the time of recommendation. "It lights a fire in my heart" - Higuchi Hirotaro, Chairman of Asahi Breweries A business owner cannot realize his dreams unless he inspires himself. To carry out important things, you need a fearless mentality. Each of Tenpu's teachings lights a fire in our hearts and encourages us, who tend to become weak-willed. "He taught me the basics of life" - Funai Yukio, Chairman of Funai Research Institute I would like to name Nakamura Tenpu as one of the people who have had a great influence on Japan today. Many leaders have learned the basics of life from Tenpu. I also wholeheartedly accept his teachings and make use of them. I highly recommend reading it. "It supports my heart" - Nagamori Shigenobu, President of Nidec Corporation This book, which explains the importance of facing various problems with a positive mindset during the growth process of a company, supports my heart. Today, many management books preach the benefits of such positive thinking, but the origin of this can be found in this book. "It gives me a sense of calm and ambition" Professor Shoichi Watanabe, Sophia University When I saw a photo of Tenpu Sensei, I was surprised at how impressive his appearance was. I was also surprised at his career, which is beyond the imagination of ordinary people, from his work as a military detective in the Sino-Japanese and Russo-Japanese wars, to his serious injuries and illnesses, his medical and philosophical studies in the West, and even his yoga training in India. I was also surprised to find that what he teaches is what I have been seeking since I was a young man. This is a rare book that gives me a sense of calm and ambition. "After laughing, I suddenly come to my senses" Author Chiyo Uno Every story that Tenpu Sensei tells is a revelation of some kind. He tells his stories with the skill of a storyteller, and those who listen to him can't help but burst out laughing. And after laughing, one day, they suddenly come to their senses at his profound philosophy of life. He traveled to Europe, America and India to cure a terminal illness. During that time, he studied medicine at Columbia University and became the first Japanese person to teach yoga. After returning to Japan, he became president of the Tokyo Jitsugyo Bank and an executive at Dai Nippon Flour Mills (now Nisshin Flour Mills), but in 1919, he gave up all his positions and turned to street preaching. The "philosophy of success in life" he gained from his turbulent life instantly captivated all who came into contact with him, and many people who had reached the pinnacle of their fields, including members of the imperial family and leading figures in politics and business, revered him as their "lifelong mentor." Even after his death in 1968, there has been no end to the number of people who have become Tenpu's disciples. In 1989, the lecture transcript "Achieving Success" was published by the small association and was widely read by business managers across the country, gradually expanding the readership and creating the "Tenpu boom" we see today. ●Main people influenced by Nakamura Tenpū (titles omitted: in no particular order) Hara Kei (former prime minister) Togo Heihachirō (marshal) Asano Soichiro (founder of Asano Cement) Ozaki Yukio (former minister of justice) Hasegawa Naozo (former president of Nippon Paint) Mishima Tokushichi (professor emeritus at the University of Tokyo and recipient of the Order of Culture) Nishi Takeichi (Olympic gold medal in equestrian events) Kurata Kazura (former president of Hitachi) Iida Seizō (former president of Nomura Securities) Murata Shozō (former president of Osaka Merchant Marine and Minister of Commerce and Industry) Watanabe Yasutaro (former president of Daiwa Securities) Sugiura Jūgō (Confucian scholar) Yamamoto Isoroku (marshal) Ishikawa Sodō (Zen priest at Tsurumi Soji Temple) Yamamoto Eisuke (admiral) Ikeda Torajiro (President of the Supreme Court and former president of Chuo University) Shigemune Yuzō (former president of the House of Councillors) Sato Yoshiakira (former governor of Osaka Prefecture) Komagata Sakuji (former chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission) Futabayama Teiji (former chairman of the Japan Sumo Association and Yokozuna) Kitamura Seibo (creator of the Nagasaki Peace Memorial Statue and recipient of the Order of Culture) Matsumoto Koshiro VII (Kabuki actor) Horikoshi Jiro (designer of the Zero Fighter) Matsuda Gonroku (lacquer artist, Order of Culture and Living National Treasure) Utsumi Satoshi (former president of the National Personnel Authority) Kabuki Masao (former president of Hitachi Cement) Osaragi Jiro (author) Echigo Shoichi (former president of Itochu) Hirooka Tatsuro (baseball commentator) Yamamoto Soji (former vice president of Tokyu Department Stores) Iwamatsu Saburo (first Supreme Court justice and special advisor to the Ministry of Justice) Mukai Tatsuji (advisor to Toray Medical) Sonoda Nao (former minister of health and welfare and minister of foreign affairs) Sunano Jin (former president of Kawasaki Heavy Industries) Shono Goichiro (former director-general of the Fisheries Agency) Sasaki Yoshitake (former minister of international trade and industry) Usaburo Obokata (Kodansha Supreme Advisor) Chiyo Uno (Author) Kazuo Inamori (Honorary Chairman of Kyocera) Fukujiro Suno (TDK Advisor) Konosuke Matsushita (Founder of Matsushita Electric Industrial) Kimiko Date (Former Tennis Player) Shuzo Matsuoka (Former Tennis Player) Yukio Funai (Management Consultant) Shohei Otani (Current Major League Baseball Player) [Supervision] Tenpukai Public Interest Foundation https://www.tempukai.or.jp/ Tenpukai is a public interest corporation founded by Tenpu Nakamura in 1919 with the aim of spreading and enlightening the "Mind and Body Unification Method," a concrete theory and practice that demonstrates the "power of life" that humans are born with.
