The mother of two has many questions: Do we dare to do this? What will it do to our family? With a heavy heart, Vanessa makes the decision that she does not want to give birth to and raise the child with the disability. But then: Shortly before the planned abortion, she changes her mind. Vanessa now wants to have her little daughter after all and face the supposed challenge. The pregnancy didn't go smoothly for Loredana and Marco either. Their little boy has Noonan syndrome, an unpredictable genetic defect. Despite this, the parents-to-be and especially the mother remain hopeful. Uschi and Dominik had exactly the same attitude. Their baby only had one kidney and couldn't produce amniotic fluid, which meant there was a risk of suffocation during pregnancy. But they decided to keep their little Paul.
