Arielle Kohlschmidt and her husband Jan moved from Berlin to Klein Priebus, a village of 70 people in Saxony. They have been convinced city dwellers all their lives, but the peace and nature in the countryside simply always felt better. Based on their personal history, they founded the 'Raumpionierstation Oberlausitz' project. Now they accompany and advise city dwellers on their way to the countryside. Their aim is to play an active role in shaping the development of rural areas in eastern Germany.
