The Children's Heart Foundation is supporting the research project "Innovative long-term ECG with a patch" at the German Heart Center in Berlin. Conventional long-term ECGs are usually uncomfortable for small children, have a short battery life of only one to two days and severely restrict the young patients' freedom of movement. Dr. Peter Kramer and his team of pediatric heart specialists were able to successfully complete the first phase of the project and present the results.
