The traditional tableware that our ancestors used for various purposes, from various household utensils to traditional tools, was brass yugi. Now, it is sadly disappearing, pushed aside by mass production systems such as plastic and stainless steel, but it is still recognized as a luxury bowl that preserves the beauty of tradition with its characteristic of preserving the original warmth and taste of food for a long time and its subtle and beautiful shape. The cultural film 'Yugijang', which contains the production process of Bangjja Yugi in Suncheon, proves that a luxury product can be made only with the sweat and effort of at least five people repeatedly hammering and pounding it in a blacksmith shop.
