After a 3-0 victory in the city of Barueri, in the first leg, the tricolor team went to the José Liberatti Gymnasium, in Osasco (SP), and achieved a great comeback victory by 3 sets to 2 (22/25, 20/25, 26/24, 25/22 and 15/11), guaranteeing the unprecedented title of the competition. With this result, the São Paulo/Barueri team won the state tournament for the first time in its history. The highlight of the match was opposite hitter Lorenne, who led the champions offensively. On the Osasco side, outside hitter Jaqueline had a good performance. The team led by José Roberto Guimarães saw the trophy threatened in the first sets, as the home team led 2-0.
