The Colonia Dignidad Oral Archive is a project coordinated by María Elena Acuña, professor of the Department of Anthropology of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Chile, which contains testimonies of various political prisoners tortured during the Chilean military dictatorship in Colonia Dignidad (now Villa Baviera). Her research team included the participation of the Association for Memory and Human Rights Colonia Dignidad, the Institute of Communication and Image (ICEI) of the University of Chile, among others, and was funded by the Human Rights Program of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, whose purpose is to contribute to the academic development of Historical Memory.
