Spartak Ngjela, raised in the Communist Bloc, then imprisoned by the dictatorship, today a well-known lawyer and politician has stated that Enver Hoxha was afraid of Mehmet Shehu, but the latter was unaware that he was afraid of him. Ngjela said tonight in an interview for the show "Opinion", that to distinguish Hoxha's fear of Shehu, first of all, one must start from the first fact. According to him, in 1948, if Mehmet Shehu had been active in politics, he would have overthrown Enver Hoxha. Invited to the show "Opinion", lawyer Spartak Ngjela spoke about the dictatorial regime and Enver Hoxha. Asked by journalist Blendi Fevziu how he assesses the figure of Enver Hoxha in the History of Albania, Ngjela replied that it is generally negative. Ngjela further mentioned two moments where, according to him, the dictator Enver Hoxha should be assessed positively. "In the role of history, I have given my facts, starting from facts and arguments, I do not see anything positive in the function of Albania towards the West. Enver Hoxha has not brought any value to the normal and Western development of Albania. For Albania within the country, he has done two things, he has created a return to the Renaissance and the appreciation of Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg. He also raised the Illyrian problem at a high level, I would consider these as a positive moment in history for Enver Hoxha. Spartak Ngjela has given an interesting version, tonight, in the show "Opinion" regarding the murder of Qemal Stafa. For Ngjela, Enver Hoxha could not have given the order for the murder of Stafa, but he was aware of this murder. He said that Qemal Stafa, a well-known name in the history of communism in Albania, was assassinated, most likely on the orders of Miladin Popovic.
