In 2022, we submitted a motion to the Bundestag to set up a Corona investigation committee. But all other parliamentary groups blocked this. What consequences can be drawn from the Corona policy? How could such a drastic abuse of political power come about? What role did the RKI and the Paul Ehrlich Institute play? What roles did the judiciary and the media play - especially ARD and ZDF? What role did scientific institutions such as the German Ethics Council and the Leopoldina play? Who must be held accountable? And above all: How can the rule of law and democracy be protected from arbitrariness and abuse of power in the future? We explored these questions with experts from science, the judiciary and the media at the 3rd Corona Symposium of the AfD parliamentary group in the Bundestag from November 2nd to 3rd, 2024.
