While the planet is ruled by the just King Randor, the villain Skeletor tries to dominate the Grayskull Castle, and thus have control of the entire universe, which is protected by He-Man, none other than Adam, the prince son of Randor. The guardian of Grayskull Castle is the Enchantress, who transforms into an eagle when necessary. Apparently she is the one who granted He-Man's powers to Prince Adam, however, in one episode, the two swords of power are shown, that is, Adam and his sister are chosen by the swords. She is also the mother of Teela, adopted by Mentor. However, no one knows that Adam is He-Man, and to keep everything a secret, although in reality He-Man is just a dark-skinned and scantily clad Prince Adam, Adam pretends to be lazy and cowardly, which angers Teela, captain of the royal guard, and disgusts Randor. In fact, three people know Adam's secret: Gorpo, Mentor and Enchantress. Later, Adora, his sister and Hope of Light, characters from the cartoon She-Ra, learn the same secret. The villain Skeletor, a strange combination of a skull face with a physical body, has his base on Serpent Mountain, which is a mountain with a waterfall and a huge serpent carved all around it.
