ONDŘEJ NEFF He was born in 1945 in Prague. He wrote his first science fiction at the age of ten, and he has been devoted to the genre his whole life. He prefers classic adventure hard sci-fi (the Arkádia series, Millennium, Lord of the Blue Sword), which also includes the new Hu! Short stories by Dědek Čuchák, which fall into the Arkádia cycle. The dystopia Darkness also attracted attention among mainstream readers. He has published shorter texts in a number of short story collections (Eggs Inside Out, Zeppelin on the Moon, God Ltd., etc.). He is a lifelong fan of Jules Verne, and has retold ten of his novels for a new generation of readers. He added his own steampunk trilogy, The Secret of the Five Continents. Ondřej Neff lives near Prague. Under the influence of his wife, actress Ljuba Krbová, he swapped karate for Chinese tai chi and rides an electric bike instead of a motorbike. He likes to take photos, walk his dogs in the forest, and pokes his nose into politics on his web magazine Invisible Dog. He is preparing a fifth part for the Lord of the Blue Sword cycle, and what happens next remains to be seen. SAŠA RAŠILOV Saša Rašilov (III.) was born in Prague in Zbraslav into a film family (his father is a cameraman, his grandfather is an actor, his sister and brother also appear in films). He studied at the Prague Conservatory, music and drama department. After graduating from the conservatory, he switched to acting at the Prague DAMU (1990-94). He worked in many theaters, and is currently a permanent member of the National Theater troupe. In addition to performing in the theater, he has dozens of television, film and radio roles to his credit. Saša has also made a good name for himself in the field of dubbing. He started dubbing the character Mickey Mouse and is now the only one in the Czech Republic who can dub the cartoon mouse. In addition to the Disney character, his voice can be heard in the first three Star Wars films (the character of Obi-Wan Kenobi), in the film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory he voiced the character of Willy Wonka (J. Depp) or in the animated fairy tale Robots the main character Rodney. He even won an award for dubbing, in 2003 he received the prestigious František Filipovský Award for the film Tápající. Today he is one of the most frequently hired dubbers in our country.
