Life is about winning. ???? Our ancestors fought heroically in World War II. They put their lives on the line so that others could live. Partisan, hero and rare person Vladko Strmeň /92/ did not live his life in vain. As a young soldier, he fought during the Slovak National Uprising in Staré Horá near Banská Bystrica. When I was recently his guest in the garden and we were collecting money to help retirees from the Social Security Administration in Banská Bystrica and the surrounding area, I realized the strength and message he leaves us. ???? And this partisan anthem was also played. ???? It is dedicated - symbolically - to all those who did not give up in life. ????
