We went to the first ice for perch! The first ice has already formed on the bay of the reservoir, where there is a large perch. I love the first ice because at this time perch on the balance beam is a catch almost everywhere. This place also brought us a good catch. Unusual winter fishing 2023, because in most places there is water, and the bay of the reservoir is frozen solid. The first holes showed that the perch is there and eating. My catchy balance beam caught a real humpback salmon! It was a cool day. We continue to drill the first ice 2023 on different reservoirs in my region. I am sure this is not the last fishing with a balance beam this season, because perch bites on it in winter and further, only already on the river.
