"Recently, someone asked me for directions while on duty. I was really happy because I could help him - it's the little things that matter," says Kevin Forster. He is 28 years old, lives in the Allgäu and started his training with the police ten years ago. He has been working at the Kaufbeuren police station since 2012. We accompanied him on the job for a day: among other things, he and his patrol partner flashed cars that were driving too fast. But they couldn't do that for long: they suddenly had to go to an accident with their blue lights on. We also met him privately during one of his greatest passions: music. He is a drummer in a band, the "Rejetnicks". We were there at a band rehearsal. That's "Is it worth it?": One person, one job, one life. And at the end of the day, the question: Is it worth it? We accompany people in their jobs and show them their lives. Is it worth it to work for a salary and use it to finance your own life? What makes me happy about work? We don't just compare salaries, we show how people live from their work. We are always looking for protagonists: If you also want to show how you live with your job, feel free to write to [email protected]! On a personal note: We are not infallible either - and although we make every effort to present every individual financial situation clearly, correctly and understandably, we sometimes need help. The Bavarian State Association of Tax Advisors and Auditors always provides us with competent support in this - thank you very much for that!
