Since its premiere in 2015, 'Hyangyeon' has established itself as a unique brand of Korean dance, creating a 'Korean dance syndrome'. It has received great responses from the media and contemporary audiences by capturing the essence of Korean dance and interpreting tradition in a modern way. Masters of Korean dance have gathered to interpret the royal dance of the Jongmyo ancestral rite, religious ritual dances such as Barachum, and folk dances such as Jangguchum through the changes of the four seasons of spring, summer, fall, and winter. The audience's hearts are captivated by the Korean aesthetics implicitly contained on the stage and the overwhelming scale of the 50 or so dancers. A stage where you can once again confirm the dignity of Korean dance. Program Act 1 [Spring] Jeui, Jinyeon, Muui - The beginning of the banquet. The newly dressed royal dance opens the curtain.
