Hello, dear sports fans, Towards the end of the winter holidays I was bitten by the bug again and I made an Oliver Kahn video. As the title suggests, it shows the highlights of his career. As well as numerous saves and emotions, it also includes the tragedy in Barcelona in 1999 when FC Bayern Munich let go of the Champions League victory against Manchester United in injury time, and the dramatic Bundesliga final in 2001. This year was to be the best for Oliver Kahn, because not only did he win the German championship, but in 2001 Oliver Kahn managed to fulfil a lifelong dream: to win the Champions League. In the Champions League final, Oliver Kahn put in a world-class performance, as he often does, saving three penalties to secure the crown of European club football for FC Bayern Munich. The following year, Oliver Kahn played an outstanding World Cup and brought Germany to the final with countless brilliant saves, where he then slipped up after an injury and became the tragic figure of the tournament. Despite his mistake, he was voted best player and best goalkeeper of the tournament - no one had ever achieved that before. In 2006, when the World Cup was held in Germany, Oliver Kahn was demoted to number 2. However, he showed sporting greatness and still took part in the World Cup. He was rewarded with the match for third place, which the German national team won 3:1. This was Oliver Kahn's last game for the national team and thus a wonderful farewell. In the summer of 2007, Oliver Kahn announced that the 2007/2008 season would be his last. And as befits a titan, he ended it by winning the German championship and the DFB Cup. On September 2nd, Oliver Kahn's farewell match against the German national team took place in the Allianz Arena. This was the last appearance of the best goalkeeper of all time.
