We took the road that goes through eastern Antioquia towards the department of Caldas, passing through La Unión, Sonsón, Nariño and crosses the border with Caldas over the Samaná Sur River at Puente Linda, from there it passes through Florencia, Berlín, Norcasia and we ended this trip in La Dorada. La Dorada is the heart of Colombia, it is close to several main cities and is an obligatory passage to cross the country through the center. This is the road that was most used to go to Bogotá from Medellín about 60 years ago. Currently they are working on it and it is expected according to the contract that it will be paved within about 4 years.
