In Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, a new facility where you can learn about the nature around the Northern Alps has been renovated and will also serve as a base for travel, providing tourist information, etc. The "Hida Northern Alps Nature and Culture Center" in Takayama City has been closed since 2017 due to renovation work due to aging, and was reopened on the 13th as the "Chubu Sangaku National Park Oku-Hida Visitor Center". About 80 people, including the mayor of Takayama, participated in the ceremony held on the morning of the 13th, and local Takara Taiko drums were performed, expressing gratitude to nature and praying for the safety of travelers. As in the past, this facility will be able to learn about the nature around the Northern Alps, such as geology and plants, and is expected to play a role in promoting the local attractions, such as providing tourist information in the area as a new base for travel.
