Get inspired! 😊 We invite you to watch our trip to Ojców National Park, the smallest national park in Poland, located half an hour's drive from Krakow. Our trip did not consist only of attractions in Ojców National Park, but using Ojców as a base (we spent the night there) we visited many attractions in the north-western part of the Małopolska province. We visited several castles of the Eagle's Nests network, many caves of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, viewpoints and historical places. Of course, we did not manage to visit everything, but we made the most of the 2 and a half days that we had in the area. For 2 days, we had wonderful weather. 2 attractions are memories from another trip to the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. 1. Jonaszówka Rock - a viewpoint in the very center of Ojców National Park. Right next to numerous restaurants you can try Ojcowski Trout, a regional dish of Małopolska. https://maps.app.goo.gl/PnG86Unk25Vmz... 2. Łokietek's Cave - the largest cave in the park. The future king of Poland, Władysław the Elbow-high, was supposed to have hidden in Łokietek's Cave. The tour is paid, with a guide. https://maps.app.goo.gl/pyUADruxUBz2n... 3. Krakowska Gate - one of the most famous rocks in Ojców National Park. https://maps.app.goo.gl/bkGwm5wRM6NcZ... 4. Trail above the Prądnik Valley - a beautiful scenic trail in Ojców National Park. https://maps.app.goo.gl/KEP7uR36VkcV7... 5. Ciemna Cave - is a valuable archaeological site, it was inhabited by Neanderthals for a long time. Hence, there is a reconstruction of a camp near the cave. Rabsztyn Castle - it was built in the Gothic style, later rebuilt in the Renaissance style. Destroyed by the Swedes in 1657, since then the building has been in ruins. It was created as a result of deforestation and intensive groundwater extraction. You can see it from the viewpoint in Klucze or, for example, go for a walk with Róża Wiatrów. Nietoperzowa Cave the longest known cave in the Jura, which is located literally behind the house. It is a private cave that is visited with a guide, there are entrances every 30-45 minutes. Inside there are wonderful dripstone forms, as well as lots of cave bear bones. https://maps.app.goo.gl/d72576Stn5LZc... 9. Wierzchowska Górna Cave The entire system for almost a kilometer in length.
