About :

Eric Kuijkhoven recently sold his shipyard on Het Spaarne. As a result, he also has to get rid of his Kagenaar Jan and he is looking for an enthusiast who wants to pass on the ship and its engine to the next generations. In the engine room of the Jan is a Kromhout K2, a 1-cylinder engine that has to be cranked by hand. Kuijkhoven demonstrates starting and sails a lap on Het Spaarne.
