We share a video of an intervention by our Occupational Therapist, Sara Pascual, in a case of hand pathology. Our patient suffered trauma to her left hand while taking a self-defense course. After a period of immobilization, when the splint was removed, she was unable to use her hand in daily activities such as washing her hair, drying her hands, driving, opening a jar, etc. A specific intervention was carried out, analyzing which components of the hand were altered, and how they limited her in her daily life. Specific exercises were designed to help her regain mobility and strength in coordination with physiotherapy.
