This is the Novotel Itu Terras de São José Golf & Resort, a hotel with full board for the whole family and your pet too! The resort has 2 swimming pools, 2 water playgrounds for children, a tennis court, a sand and soccer court, a kids' area, a recreation team, a gym, a spa and much more! We left Brasília airport and went to Viracopos in São Paulo. From Viracopos airport we took an Uber that took 40 minutes to get to the hotel. The hotel does not have free parking and if you go by car you will have to pay a daily rate of R$45. We checked in online the day before and with the Platinum status we have with ALL we were able to get into the room before 12 pm with the early check-in benefit. But the normal check-in time is 4 pm and check-out is 12 pm. We first explored the children's pool which was at a very pleasant temperature. This was the pool that Sam enjoyed the most and if he could, he would have stayed here all day. Older children can enjoy the other water playground with slides, slides and that giant bucket that keeps splashing water, which the kids love. The water in this playground was very cold on the days we were there. The larger pool, which is 1.20 meters high, is at a very good temperature. The water is heated, but every Monday and after holidays, due to maintenance, none of the pools are heated. We had the experience of getting into the water at a very pleasant temperature on the weekend and very cold on Monday. There is also the spa pool with some waterfalls for a massage. There is a bar near the pools where you can order drinks and snacks. The Novotel in ITU offers full board, but it is not all inclusive. You are entitled to breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner, but anything you order between these times will have to be paid for separately. The design of the compact resort was excellent because even with many activities and facilities for the whole family, everything is very close and you don't have to walk far. Sam also really liked this playground with bouncy castles, swings and slides. The floor is made of a rubber material that is suitable for children to have fun safely. There is also a playroom with bouncy castles, slides and many activities organized by the hotel with monitors. There is a huge toy with different slides that the children also really like, but Sam didn't care and didn't want to go. Children have to be at least 1 meter tall to play safely. For those who like sports, the resort has 2 tennis courts, a sand court and a soccer field. There is also a gym and here's a tip! Bring your own water bottle and take advantage of the water filter in the gym to fill your bottle for free. Those who know us know how picky and picky we are when it comes to food, but Novotel surprised us. The food was much better than many all-inclusive resorts we have been to, but the lunch and dinner experience on the weekend was much better, with many more options and in a much larger space than during the week. The tip is to make the most of the hotel on weekends and holidays! On holidays and weekends, 30 minutes before the main restaurant opens, a smaller area opens next door just for children. During the week, on Monday, this was the space used for dinner for all guests, with a much smaller buffet, but it had a risotto station. We really liked the breakfast. There is a station where you can make your own juice in a powerful juicer. The buffet has different options of fruits, cold cuts, savory and sweet breads, pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs and this delicious cheese bread! You can ask for tapioca and omelets to be made on the spot. There is also yogurt, coconut water, soy milk and you can make your own coffee, cappuccino, mocha or chocolate with these machines. On Saturday, for lunch, there was feijoada with a station with cheese pastries, feijoada balls and bean soup. On Saturday night, the salad buffet was very complete with a beautiful and delicious cheese table. The buffet always had meat, chicken and fish. In addition, next to the buffet, they were serving freshly made pizzas. But the highlight is the desserts. They were very well made and each one was better than the last. On weekends and holidays, there is also live music and different food stations. On Sundays, at lunchtime, there was live music, freshly made barbecue, a pasta station, temaki, a buffet with many options and a freshly grilled food station. In the afternoon, they serve a snack in the outdoor area at some tables. Every day there was something different to eat and drink. Access to the baby kitchen was already allowed at our check-in and you can also open the door with your wristband. The kitchen has some fruits, milk, a microwave, a water filter and a bottle sterilizer. #novotel #novotelhotel #hotelspa #resort #hotel
