Do you have a sagging chest or a sagging underboob that you hate to look at? In this video I'm going to show you a simple and straightforward 4-step plan to get your pecs bigger and better looking than ever without any nonsense. The key is to not skip any parts because the combination of everything will lead to better results. This means that we need to start by fixing your posture. That's right. Posture can be one of the biggest contributors to a sagging chest. The problem is two-fold. First, just slumping your shoulders forward instantly gives you the appearance that you are smaller and flabbier than you are. This is due to having a tight pectoralis minor and weak upper back muscles. Do the pectoralis minor stretch shown and use an upper back foam roller to get more thoracic extension while not forgetting to work your weaker muscles with the corrective exercises shown. Next, we need to talk about nutrition. Too often your chest looks worse than it is because of the amount of body fat you are carrying. You can do a simple test to determine how much of a problem you have with body fat versus just having underdeveloped chest muscles. Look in the mirror and see if you can see your two upper abs. If you can't see them you are probably at least 15 percent body fat and this is going to be a problem as men will accumulate a good portion of fat on the lower chest when their overall levels are too high. The simplest way to fix this problem is to start eating better. However, the key is consistency and haphazardly approaching your nutrition plan will leave you frustrated in the long run. Instead, try adopting the plate-splitting method shown in the video. It makes eating any food much easier when you can visualize and divide the macronutrients of protein, fibrous carbs, starchy carbs and healthy fats on your plate this way. You will likely find this much less frustrating and easier to maintain over time. There are chest exercises that accomplish a better job than others in working the lower chest and helping to get rid of that flabby look. All of these will have in common the direction of the arm movement. In general, to work the lower chest fibers at the abdominal head best, you need to bring your arms from an elevated and outward position to a lower and inward position. You will find that all of the exercises shown accomplish that. Additionally, applying tension and a pause to the elongated portion on each of the reps you do in any of these exercises will help the chest muscles undergo a more effective stimulus. Don’t skip this part or rush it if you want to see the best results for your flabby lower chest. To wrap it all up, I would recommend the following: Perform foam rolling for the thoracic spine and stretch for the pectoralis minor every time you do your corrective chest routine. Pick one of the three exercises (face pulldowns, band pulldowns, band external rotation) and perform 3 sets of 12 high quality reps as a neuro-activator for the chest before your workout. Pick 4-5 chest exercises shown and perform 3 sets of each if you are going to do them as a dedicated chest routine in your current training.
