It was announced on October 17th that actor Toshiyuki Nishida, known for his roles in numerous films and dramas, including the Tsuribaka Nisshi series, passed away at his home in Tokyo. He was 76 years old. Nishida had just attended the press conference for the completion of Doctor X: Final, held in Tokyo on October 8th. With Doctor X ending with the film version, he spoke about his feelings about his role as Hiruma Shigekatsu. Doctor X: Surgeon Daimon Michiko, a serial drama that has been broadcast on TV Asahi for seven series since 2012. The medical drama depicts the exploits of Daimon Michiko, a lone freelance surgeon played by Ryoko Yonekura, who is not affiliated with the medical department of a university hospital, but instead belongs to a suspicious referral center for top doctors, and travels from one hospital to another. The long-loved national medical drama masterpiece Doctor X has finally been made into a film. The secret of Daimon Michiko's birth is revealed for the first time in the film version. Episode zero of "Doctor X" is finally revealed. And Michiko, who has overcome many crises in the drama series so far, will face the worst crisis in history.
