During his high school years, he participated in music activities at school and also participated in choir activities in some Non-Governmental Organizations, and spent a period intertwined with music. In 1997, she went to Izmir after getting accepted into the Department of Fundamental Sciences at the Ege University Turkish Music State Conservatory. During her education, she worked as a volunteer choir conductor in various non-governmental organizations and gave solo lessons in her spare time in Izmir. Also during her school years, she participated in a competition organized by TRT Izmir Radio and came in second. After her five-year undergraduate period, Nilüfer Sarıtaş completed her MA without thesis at the Social Sciences Institute and settled in Istanbul, took Repertoire and Baglama lessons at Erdal Erzincan Music Center and started teaching music. She came in third in the TRT Istanbul Radio amateur voice competition and came in first in the Arguvan Foundation Arguvan Türküleri voice competition. She is continuing her Art Proficiency program at Haliç University. In 2005, she participated in the competition called Anadolu Ateşi Bu Toprakrağın Sesi and came in first. She released an album after the competition. Today, she continues her concert and album work uninterruptedly. Nilüfer Sarıtaş's albums and album works; In 2005, he introduced the Sound of Toprağın Album (Tevhit) to music lovers.
