Niko Ranta-aho is currently serving the 13-year maximum sentence he received for serious drug crimes in the gang section of Riihimäki prison. The judgments are not yet legally binding, but the Katiska1 case is awaiting the judgment of the court of appeals and the Katiska2 case is just going to the court. Ranta-aho has now been in prison for a total of three years. In addition to police prisons, he has spent time in prisons in Vantaa, Jokela, Mikkeli and Riihimäki.
