Machiavelli did not believe in the existence of morality. In a critical period of history, he abandoned the thoughts of Christian religion and morality. Machiavelli designed a system of oppression and deception. The foundation of Machiavelli's thoughts: deep truths, tyrannical and totalitarian rule. But when we look at Machiavelli's thoughts today, we see that he was telling the truth many times. The world that is being run today is very similar to Machiavelli's thoughts. In order to understand Machiavelli's philosophy, we must first look at his life. He was born in a period when Europe was involved in chaos and political chaos. Niccolo Machiavelli was born in Florence, Italy in 1469. His family was rich but his father (Bernardo) was the poorest member of this family. Bernardo was a lawyer and since he had good relations with politicians, he usually did not work as a lawyer. Machiavelli's father did not believe in religion, which was very strange at that time. Unlike his father, his mother was a religious woman who spent all her time praying and writing religious poems. Both the father's pessimistic thoughts towards religion and the mother's talent in literature and writing were both very influential in Machiavelli's future works. At that time, Florence had an apparently republican system. The Republic of Florence was governed by eight powers, all of which were under the supervision of the prime minister. In that system, representatives were selected through a lottery-like system. These representatives were called men of Florence. The conditions of Europe had become such that no person could know himself as undisputed power in Florence or anywhere else on this earth. In reality, the system that existed in Florence was a disaster. Over time, the government of Florence weakened and every few months, a lot of politicians were replaced and chaos spread in the society. The combined observation of this corruption and crime formed Machiavelli's future thoughts. We don't have much information about the early days of Machiavelli's life, but we know that he had reached high levels of education. When the Medici family lost power in 1494, Machiavelli was employed by the government of Florence and was responsible for writing government documents. A short time later, Machiavelli was promoted several times and reached the position of second in charge in the government apparatus, a very important post in Florence, as well as a position in the government's foreign relations organization. At this time, Machiavelli was only 28 years old, and it is not clear to this day how he was able to reach such an important position at such a young age. There is no document to explain these extraordinary developments to us. But if we think more about it, we see that it was not so much a failure. For decades, Machiavelli was an influential diplomat. During this time, he did not make any mistakes in his work, but he did not have any authority and had to execute the orders of the higher ranks. Florence no longer had its former power and was falling. In 1512, the government of Florence fell and the Medici family returned to power. Machiavelli, who was one of the agents of the previous government, was arrested, imprisoned and tortured by the Medici family. Then he was exiled. It was during his exile that Machiavelli wrote his most famous work. Shahriar was not the only book that Machiavelli wrote, but it was the most famous and influential of them. Machiavelli's philosophy is mostly based on this book. Shahriar's book was supposed to be a guide for political leaders. This book was specifically written for the great Lorenzo Medici of the Medici family. When it is necessary, they show themselves to be moral and another time, they change their role. Such a thing has become very normal for us today, but in reality, there is a huge difference between the politics of world leaders and moral theories. The very strange thing about Machiavelli's writings is that Machiavelli's writing is not mandatory at all and does not force anyone to do these things. Machiavelli explains his view of this world. Machiavelli depicted the world as he saw and believed it to be, not as it should be. Machiavelli doesn't care if you want to be a good person or not, if God exists or not, he doesn't care about friends and sometimes enemies, instead he says that the philosophy of the world is only based on one stable principle: power! Machiavelli's writings came right from the heart of the common European society at that time. The evil character that Machiavelli introduced in his book soon entered the world of literature and drama, and of course the word Machiavelli became synonymous with the word Satan. In fact, Machiav
