Nhon Trach Tunnels is a secret underground base built from May 1962 to the end of 1963 with a total length of about 1,500m, located in Long Tho Commune, Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province. This is the base of Nhon Trach District Party Committee and the 10th Special Forces Regiment of the Liberation Army during the war. Nhon Trach Tunnels were attacked many times by the US-Republic of Vietnam coalition, and were even sprayed with toxic chemicals to burn down the forests to destroy the base. However, the Liberation Army still persisted in holding out and organized battles that caused significant damage to the enemy, such as the battle in which the Sac Forest Special Forces raided the Thanh Tuy Ha Ammunition Depot, destroying thousands of tons of bombs and ammunition, or the joint battle between Company 240 (Dong Nai local troops) and Division 5 attacked the Thai army's Dieu Garden Post in 1967...
