A New Path group has been established in the Turkish Grand National Assembly The “umbrella party” of the DEVA, Future and Saadet parties, Yeni Yol, has formed a group in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Bülent Kaya will serve as Group Chair, while Mehmet Emin Ekmen and Selçuk Özdağ will serve as group deputy chairs in the group management. According to the information obtained, the procedures regarding the establishment of the Yeni Yol group in the Turkish Grand National Assembly have been completed. The deputies who resigned from the “Saadet” group, which consists of Future and Saadet and DEVA parties, and whose official name is “Saadet,” submitted their petitions to the Presidency of the Turkish Grand National Assembly stating that they are transferring to the newly established Yeni Yol party. Thus, the “New Path” group was established in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. The group management of Yeni Yol has also been determined. The Deputy Group Chair of the Future-Saadet group and former Saadet Party İstanbul Deputy Bülent Kaya has become the Group Chair of Yeni Yol. Former DEVA Party Mersin Deputy Mehmet Emin Ekmen and former Future Party Muğla Deputy Selçuk Özdağ will also serve as group deputy chairs in Yenil Yol. İzmir MP Mustafa Bilici became a Secretary Member. Yeni Yol held its first group meeting today. Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu, Saadet Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan and DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan spoke at the group meeting.
