The car will be available from 2025 and will be positioned above the Renault 5 in terms of size, despite its name suggesting otherwise. Measuring 4.14 metres in length, the new Renault 4 has been developed on the Ampere electric platform, expanding the French brand's electric range and aiming to compete with models such as the Citroën C3 Aircross and the Jeep Avenger. The design of the new Renault 4 recalls the retro style of the original model, but with a modern twist. The body features smooth shapes and clean lines, while the circular LED headlights and the light signature on the grille offer a contemporary look. The logo lighting, inspired by that of Volkswagen, demonstrates Renault's commitment to evolving the styling details of its car. Despite its modern look, the model retains some traditional elements, such as the wheel arches, a tribute to the heritage of the Renault 4. The new Renault 4 stands out for its large cargo space and practicality. The trunk offers a capacity of 420 liters with a very low loading threshold, making access and use easier for those with special needs, such as shorter people. The car maintains a versatile soul, with the possibility of removing the subwoofer to further expand the space. In addition, the electric tailgate is a convenient solution, also designed for a female audience. The interior of the new Renault 4 has been designed to offer maximum comfort and functionality. The car integrates the Google navigation system, together with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The digital dashboard is fully customizable and the Ampere electric platform supports fast charging up to 100 kW. The numerous driving modes (Eco, Sport, Snow, All Terrain, Comfort) and the ability to simulate a self-locking differential make the car suitable even for difficult driving conditions. The Renault 4 2025 will be available with two battery options: one 40 kWh and one 52 kWh, with a maximum range of up to 400 km. The electric motor offers up to 150 horsepower, allowing the car to compete with other electric models on the market, such as the Jeep Avenger and the Citroën C3 Aircross. Despite its modernity and advanced performance, the lack of a front storage compartment (frunk) is a small flaw, limiting the space available to store the charging cable.
