Hello friends. This is the new Nissan Patrol and it has a lot in common with the more luxurious Infiniti QX80. It is also known as the Nissan Armada in the US and it is essentially the same car, and technically they are completely identical, so everything you hear in this video is also true for the Armada. And we will start with the most interesting thing - the engine. The full-size three-row SUV replaced the outdated V8 with a more modern 3.5-liter V6 with twin turbocharging, borrowed from the Infiniti QX80. We are talking about the new VR35 engine, which has proven itself well in Infiniti and produces 425 horsepower and a torque of 700 Nm, which is 25 horsepower and 140 Nm more than the previous V8. So progress is obvious. Those who do not need any turbo engines will have access to a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated six with 316 hp. Both engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard adaptive all-wheel drive with low range, and an electronic rear differential is available.
