Yaqout is a dramatic film about the conflict that takes place between "Najat", an old woman who lives with her son "Radwan" and his wife "Yaqout". "Najat" is jealous of the special relationship between her son and his wife, and sees "Yaqout" as a threat to her son's love for her. Tension begins to grow inside the house, and "Najat" tries in every way to create problems for "Yaqout", whether by interfering in her life or by saying hurtful words. As for "Yaqout", she tries to be patient and deal with the situation with patience and wisdom in order to preserve her marriage. The events reach their climax, and here the conflict between them increases, and "Najat" becomes more aggressive. But at one critical moment, "Najat" is exposed to a difficult situation, and "Yaqout" is the only one who supports her and stands by her. This situation turns the scales of the relationship upside down, and "Najat" realizes her mistake and feels remorse for the bad treatment she used to give "Yaqout". The ending reflects the value of tolerance and love, and how the family should be a source of support and not conflict.
