The all-new Ferrari F80 is here! It’s the successor to the legendary LaFerrari, and Mat is here to tell you everything you need to know about it! First up, let’s talk about the engine and performance. The V12 is officially gone, replaced by… a 296-liter V6! But fear not, Ferrari fans – it also features three electric motors that together produce a mind-blowing 1,200 horsepower. That officially makes it the most powerful Ferrari road car ever made! Power is sent to all four wheels, allowing the F80 to hit 62 miles per hour in under 2.15 seconds! When it comes to looks, it’s safe to say that the F80 doesn’t have the same visual appeal as its predecessor. The black stripe across the nose looks similar to what you’d find on a 12Cilindri, but overall the front end doesn’t have the same pointed style as previous legendary Ferraris. However, upon closer inspection, you can spot a few aerodynamic touches on the car, such as the fins behind the side windows and the heavily sculpted side sills. As for the interior, one of the most notable features is the square steering wheel, which clearly takes inspiration from Ferrari’s Le Mans hypercar programme. While the steering wheel has plenty of physical buttons, the rest of the cabin is adorned with a number of screens. The driver has a screen with a digital dial, while the passenger has a separate screen – similar to the Purosangue. The F80 is limited to just 799 units and of course it doesn’t come cheap. Each one costs around £3,000,000! But is it as good as the McLaren W1? And is it a suitable successor to the LaFerrari? Stay with Mat and find out for yourself!
