A 33-year-old patient suffered a traffic accident while driving a motorcycle - he was not wearing a protective helmet - causing head trauma. He was referred from another treatment clinic after five months of evolution. At the beginning of the treatment he presented significant neurological deficits, sequelae of left hemiplegia, poor head and trunk control, expressive aphasia and hemineglect, he underwent craniopathy with placement of a titanium plate. The video begins about seven months after the start of treatment at Caren. He was treated by the interdisciplinary team of the Caren Institute, physical exercise therapy was applied with the NEURO-TEF® method, as the most important alternative in the rehabilitation of patients with damage to the central and peripheral nervous system, obtaining in some cases the complete restoration of function, based on the concept of neuronal plasticity.
