〈Please turn on YouTube subtitles when watching. 〉 〈Please turn on YouTube subtitles for your language.Thank you.〉 When making a ring in needle tatting lace, it is usually made with a "mock ring", but in this video, it is made with a "ring". (This is how we knit at Kinuya Needle Tatting School.) A "ring" is made by making a "ring" with the thread protruding from the needle hole and the needle, just like when making a ring with a shuttle by putting it around your finger. (㊟: The "ring" in the shuttle is a small "ring" that is simply put around your finger, but in needle tatting, the "ring" is made by making a long thread into a "ring", so it is a very large "ring".) Since it is not a "mock ring", there is no action of tying the thread after Cl (close). The same is true for "chain", where the thread is not tied. It is made with the same structure as a "ring" or "chain" made with a shuttle. For more information on needle tatting using "rings", see "Needle Tatting for Beginners" by Sato Rei. It is available for purchase at our online shop. <Kinuya Online Shop> "Needle Tatting for Beginners" by Sato Rei https://www.kinuya.biz/%E3%82%AA%E3%8...
