AG House by Studie Another charming work of Studie will be visited in this episode of Behind The Bricks. Hosted by Jecelyn Chandra, we will hear a direct explanation from Ivan Eldo, the principal of the Studie architectural firm. The house, which stands on a 217 m2 hook land, has 2 very interesting facades, presenting a play of colors, textures, and materials that are typical of Studie; starting from the dark gray kamprot fence wall, gray concrete roster wall, metal roof and black steel frame and cement board with a wood texture. These neutral colors blend nicely with the green of the tropical plants in the fairly large garden area. One of the facades facing west is deliberately opened to maximize the view to the green area of the housing complex, so that the homeowner can enjoy the fresh green scenery at all times. However, to prevent the heat of the sun, Ivan designed a fairly deep overhang and also a double skin wall. As a result, natural light can still enter, but the heat can be reduced. The interior of the house is very homey with a simple yet charming Scandinavian style. What is very interesting is the bathroom interior which is made with a different theme. There are 3 bathrooms and all three have their own distinctive interiors. And, what is amazing is the level of neatness of the contractor's work with quite complicated details, you really have to see it yourself! Come with us to explore this simple but super homey Scandinavian tropical house.
