Since the enactment of Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, the implementation of Articles 2 and 3 has raised pros and cons, especially regarding the risk of criminalizing policies that prioritize state losses over malicious intent (mens rea). This concern often haunts public officials and BUMN in making strategic decisions for the benefit of the community. The UI Legal Study Institute together with the Katadata Insight Center (KIC), invite you to attend and discuss with legal experts, former KPK leaders, and academics to evaluate these articles and prepare recommendations for improving the corruption eradication system in Indonesia. ????
